For the Dogs

As opposed to for the birds.  Visiting with friends tonight who only have one dog, their floors were so clean, no nail scratches, or footprints.  Most of the time I spend cleaning is damage control.  I don't get to the real stuff as often as I'd like.  But when you see the babies, you'll know why I don't mind...that much.

Successes and Roadblocks

Well the good news is I got a great deal of de-doggifying done, the bad news is the kitchen has a lot of cabinets, and I didn't finish. 

I am NOT a lover of an unfinished project.  I ran out of primer, and energy. 

I will take pictures later and post asap.  But the Linen color of the walls and the Shell White of the cabinets I do have done is, in a word, Fabulous!  So anxious to finish.  Maybe I can bribe ask my husband to help me finish the job!

I did manage to run...chasing the dog who dug out of the fence again.  Thanks to the neib who caught her.  Thank God it's the friendly one who digs out...

The Beginning

There is so much to add and so much to say... 


This weekends projects include: Painting kitchen cabinets (am I really?), de-doggifying house, updating blog vigorously, and exercise.  Can I get an uff da?! 


Painting kitchen cabinets.  I have done this before with favorable results.  I would prefer having it done, however the budget is basically the price of a can of paint, and elbow grease.  So, if I want it done, I do it myself. 


De-doggifying.  We have recently returned home from travel and with 4 dogs, 3 of which were home being watched by neighbors-we-owe-big-time, the house gets out of hand.  Wait until you see the pictures of the impressive hole Marnie dug in the yard... 


Updating blog.  Since this is my first post I have a lot of photos to add, and .. a lot of explaining to do!
